I create and design my "Woolies" from 100% wool which has been felted.  I find beautiful patterned wool sweaters and fabric in thrift stores. My craft gives new life to the sweaters and fabric that I use.  It is also satisfying that I can make comforting products such as pillows and tea cozies.

My life experiences have prepared me to delve into fiber art.  As a child, I learned the basic embroidery stitches from my mother.  I also was a member of 4-H in which sewing was my specialty.  I have experience in crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, needlepoint and quilting.

My profession was in the field of education.  I began as an elementary classroom teacher, then became a library media specialist.  I like combining children's books with some of my products.
